THESE ARE THE TOP TEN QUESTIONS THAT WE SEE ON A REGULAR BASIS.

What exactly is CBD and what does it stand for?
CBD stands for Cannabidiol, which is most commonly known as the “therapeutic compound” with no intoxicating properties. Cannabinoids are a group of fatty compounds found in hemp but also produced by other plants and the human body. They are the primary chemical compounds produced by the cannabis plant. These compounds are key players in normal immune and central nervous system functioning. The truth is that it is just one of the hundreds of cannabinoids in this amazing & sacred plant that act on the cannabinoid receptors in our Endocannabinoid System.
What is a phytocannabinoid?
A phytocannabinoid is a naturally occurring compound produced by the cannabis plant. There are 113 known phytocannabinoids in cannabis including CBD and CBG. In addition to phytocannabinoids there are also synthetic cannabinoids used as drugs and endocannabinoids. Synthetic cannabinoids are artificially manufactured, whereas, endocannabinoids are naturally produced by humans and animals.
What is the difference in isolate, broad spectrum, and full spectrum?
CBD Isolate is 99% pure CBD, Broad Spectrum contains CBD, other cannabinoids and terepenes with NO THC, and Full Spectrum is full plant extract with all cannabinoids found in the plant including THC.
How are CBD extracts made?
There are many ways to extract Mother Nature’s precious material from the Hemp and cannabis plants. Extracts may be obtained using solvents or non-flammable CO2 Extraction. All of Mireaux’s brand products are processed using a proprietary Supercritical CO2 Extraction process.
What is the Endocannabinoid System?
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a collection of cell receptors within a mammal’s body that was discovered in the 1990’s. The ECS is designed to support cells and healthy immune system function, despite fluctuations in our external environment. A mammal’s endocannabinoid system affects many regions of the body, including functions of the immune system, the central nervous system (including the brain), organs, connective tissue, and glands. The ECS supports various biological tasks, including energy & balance, immune function, memory, metabolism, sleep, and the function of the autonomic nervous system.
What is the difference between hemp CBD and cannabis CBD?
Although both are from the same plant species called Cannabis Sativa, they are 2 very distinct plants that differ in genetics, cultivation, and chemical process. Hemp CBD plants contain much higher amounts of CBD and cannabis CBD contain much higher amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a compound that cause the “high” that people associate with cannabis use.
How do I know what I am purchasing?
This is probably the most important question you can to truly be an informed consumer. You must protect yourself, ask questions, and ask to see lab reports. Any company producing a quality product will always have lab reports to back up their products.
In these reports you can find things such as: CBD %, THC %, residual solvent content, heavy metals, etc. There are many products out there that have been tested privately revealing low levels to no CBD, higher than legal amounts of THC and all any number of undesirable things you do not want in your body. As with any thing else in life, you get what you pay for. You are taking CBD for the health of your body, mind and soul so make sure it has nothing in it that will harm you and don’t make a decision on CBD because it’s cheap.
All of Mireaux’s brand products are made with 100% THC-Free Phytocannabinoid Rich (PCR) Broad Spectrum CBD and every batch is 3rd party QA tested. Lab Test are available on our website by batch # or QR Code.
Will using CBD result in a test positive on a drug test?
It gets a little complicated when you take a deep dive into whether CBD can make you fail a drug test. Drug test are looking for THC and NOT CBD. Some CBD products do not contain any THC – these are known as CBD Isolate or Broad Spectrum CBD. Without THC, you will not fail a drug test due to CBD.
Always ask for lab tests to understand the compound breakdown of the product you’re purchasing. All of Mireaux’s brand products are made with 100% THC Free Phytocannabinoid Rich (PCR) Broad Spectrum CBD and every batch is QA tested and 3rd party tested. Lab Test are available on our website by # or QR Code.
Is CBD Legal?
President Trump made history on December 20th, 2018 making Hemp federally legal, and it is legal in some form in all 50 states. Check with your local government regarding local rules and regulations because they can be tricky at times.
Should I be concerned about getting “high” if I take CBD?
CBD from industrial/medicinal Hemp is non-psychoactive and will not impair the user or get them “high”. All of Mireaux’s brand products are 100% THC Free.
